One franchise, every note

The Transformers Album is an independent, fan-run archive. We are not affiliated with the franchise's rights holders — we are fans of a specific, under-documented thing: the music. For a franchise that has run continuously since the 1980s across animated series, live-action films, and video games, the sound recordings are scattered across labels, continents, and decades. This site exists to put them in one indexed, verifiable place.

What the archive contains

Every entry follows the same documentation standard:

  • Release data: dates, formats, catalog numbers, and the edition you are actually looking at — original soundtrack, expanded deluxe, or vinyl remaster, each documented separately.
  • Credits: composers, performers, and mastering engineers, cross-checked against liner notes and label archives.
  • Edition tracking: when a score exists in multiple releases, we document what differs — added cues, remastered audio, changed artwork — so collectors know what they are buying.
  • Listening and availability links where they legitimately exist.

Our standards

We do not guess. An entry with unverified details is marked as such instead of being padded with confident nonsense. Corrections come from contributors who own the physical releases and can check the liner notes, and every correction is logged. The archive covers the franchise's music history from the 1984 animated era through the modern film and game scores.

Whether you are here for a nostalgic score, mastering research, or to settle an edition dispute with proof, The Transformers Album keeps the discography honest — one verified entry at a time.
